MGDesk is a small Control Panel applet for Windows CE handheld
computers (HPC). To begin using the applet, simply copy the applet
for your HPC to it's \Windows directory. If you're not sure, copy
one and try it and if it doesn't work, it's the other one. Upon
starting Control Panel, it's icon and name should appear along with
the other applets. If this fails to happen, make sure you copied the
file to the Windows directory and that you picked the right one for
your HPC.

MGDesk allows you to select which system icons appear on your
desktop (or not). An example of "system icons" are Control Panel,
Databases and Recycle Bin. There may be more, depending on your
computer and what software you have installed. Upon starting the
applet, all potential system icons are displayed by name. Those
that are already present on the desktop are selected by the time
they are displayed. To remove an icon, unselect it. Conversely, to
addan icon, select it. When finished selecting the icons to display,
select OK to accept the settings or Cancel to quit without changing
anything.

When you are done with the applet, you might notice that nothing
has changed. In order to see your changes, you will need to reset the
HPC by first turning it off and pressing the "Reset" button using the
stylus (This is how it's done on the Casio, your mileage may vary).
When the HPC is restarted, the icons specified should appear. You may
want to enable "Auto Arrange" so they are not piled on top of one
another (Alt-tap the desktop to enable this item).
