Transfers

Transfers are simply transactions to do transfers between two accounts. To transfer $100.00 from AccountA to AccountB, you would add a new transaction and select the destination account to transfer to in the Transaction Detail Dialog box's Transfer dropdown box.

To undo a transfer, simply select the current account in the dropdown box.

When Clearing Transactions the transaction is cleared from both accounts and is applied to both account's balance.

A transfer amount can be a debit or credit. The target account's amount is simply the opposite. For example:

A Debit (DR) transaction in AccountA with a Transfer to dropdown box set to AccountB for $100.00 causes:

AccountA to have a debit transaction for $100.00 AccountB to have a credit transaction for $100.00
