Transaction Detail Dialog

The transaction details dialog allows you to view or change transaction information when you are editing a transaction, or adding a new transaction.

1.Repeat
This field allows you to choose how often the transaction will recur. Recurring transactions and how they work are described in a separate section.
2.Check#
Enter the check number of any check that this transaction is related to. This will show up on the main list of transactions.
3.Description
This line is for you to enter the description of the transactioe, or the payee - this line shows up on the mian transacation list.
4.Notes
Enter any transaction specific notes here. This is for your reference. The notes can only be seen in the transaction details screen
5.Cleared
This checkbox is used to mark that a transaction has cleared your account. Checking this box on cleared transactions allows you to use the Transaction Rollup feature to remove cleared transactions from the account.
6.Add Tip...
Adding a tip to the amount is a snap using this unique feature of Dollars and Cents. Simply select the percentage amount and Dollars and Cents does the rest.
7.DR/CR
This dropdown list allows you to select whether this transaction is a Withdrawl/Debit (DR) or a Deposit/Credit (CR). By selecting the appropriate option, you are telling Dollars and Cents whether this transaction should be added to or subtracted from the running balance.
8.Amount
Simply enter the amount of the transaction here eg: 106.76 or 56.23
9.Time
This field allows you to select at what time you expect this transaction to occur. This is important because it affects the order in which the transactions happen. You may not think this matters, but on a day when you are paid, you will want to make sure that your Deposit is entered at a time before you enter a withdrawl to go to the movies on the same day...
A.Tranfer
Select an account from this list to make the transaction act as a transfer from the current account to this new account. See the Transfers section for more info.
B.Date
This field allows you to select on what day you expect this transaction to occur. This is important because it affects the order in which the transactions happen.
